What I Do Best

Commissioned and Custom Pieces
From Concept to Completion
I strive for perfection, custom pieces commissioned by customers are always fun and unique. The process is quite simple; customer sends a large picture file, the size and style they wish it to be painted in, and any specific needs (ie frame or visual asthetics in finished work). Cost is determined by the size, framing, and amount of time the piece requires. I'm usually booked out atleast 2-3 weeks. Sometimes a few months when clients order larger quantities, 5 to 20 pieces, at a time. Delivering high quality perfection is guaranteed, so if you'd like to submit a special order, or have any questions, please get in touch with me today. I am also extremely confidential and will not share any pieces, pictures, or information about any orders without your expressed written consent. Hope to hear about your dream piece and discuss how we can make it happen.
South Haven Lighthouse paintings
Top Quality Guaranteed
Due to the overwhelming requests I produce several different lighthouse paintings every year. If you are interested, any past paintings, frames, frames, and styles can be reproduced. However, I NEVER paint the same piece twice or make/sell any prints of my work. That said, I will customize a similar piece to your specifications and needs.

Photo-realism
For Every Need
A huge portion of my pieces are done in this style. Through layering and various painting techniques I can add aged cracks in the paint, hidden shapes and/or designs that only appear in certain light, and several other tricks to create your one-of-a-kind piece.
Material Consultation
Attention to Detail
Any material specifications on frames or painting's finished presentation can be accomplished. (IE: Wood, steel, and other variations of frames finished with paints or varnishes / Cloth, paper, or other materials on back of painting. / Any variations on how you intend on hanging you work is also done in-house)

The Story Behind Michael Creighton Brown
An Eye for Detail
I began painting in the mid 90's and by 1997 my pieces were winning awards in local, regional, and national competitions. My grandmother was also a painter and my father carved some of the best early American style eagles I have ever seen. I attended Art, Fashion Design, Interior Design, and several other classes while earning my B.A. at Indiana University. Later I received my 1st MBA from Webster University and 2nd from Davenport University.
